VeryDarkMan stated this in a video shared on his official Instagram handle on Friday, expressing his willingness to campaign for Seyi.
“If Seyi Tinubu decides to run for governorship…I’m going to campaign for him.
I don’t do politics but I’ll do politics because of Seyi Tinubu,” VeryDarkMan said. He believes Seyi’s potential governorship would signal a shift in Nigeria’s politics, allowing younger people to take over political offices.
Seyi, who will be 42 in 2027, could become the youngest governor in Lagos’ history.
“Based on my calculation, Seyi Tinubu is a bridge to get something that I want, something that I believe will make Nigeria work,” VeryDarkMan added.
He also noted that Seyi seems to employ a strategic approach to politics, similar to his father’s, by positioning loyalists in key positions. VeryDarkMan suspects that Seyi already has a network of loyalists in place, primarily composed of younger individuals who are easier to control.
According to VeryDarkMan, with Seyi as governor, he is likely to support his loyalists in becoming governors and top political office holders in various states.
