The visit underscores the Governor’s commitment to improving infrastructure and fostering efficient Governance at the grassroots.

The Governor who arrived the Commission in an Entourage of Commissioners and top government officials, was given a historic welcome by the Chairman of the Commission, Hon. Adams Adabenege, board members, senior officers and staff.

The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as the visit signaled the Administration’s dedication to Local Government Development.

The building and Renovation projects include, the Construction of a top-of-the-art office complex, comprising a big training hall with modern facilities and office spaces, improvement of surrounding infrastructure such as renovation of existing buildings, landscaping, planting of beautiful flowers to enhance the aesthetics of the Commission Premises.

According to Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the primary purpose of the visit was to assess the progress of the building and Renovations currently underway.

These projects are aimed at modernizing administrative infrastructures in the Commission as the civil Servants are the engine house of the State. It is a modern word and we have to go that way. congratulations to the staffs for achieving a more viable working environment He added.

His Excellency further said the UNITY HALL as the new Training hall is called, is set to bring together stakeholders and representatives of the 21 local government across the State irrespective of Tribe or Religion.

Speaking, the Chairman of the Commission Hon. Adams Adabenege Said the UNITY HALL has a capacity of 500 people .

Showing Satisfaction for the job thus far, the Governor praised the Chairman and urged him to continue serving the State selflessly .

Addressing the Staff of the Commission, the Governor urged them to put in their best and maximize this opportunity as he is poised to serve them and deliver the mandate given him.

The staff inturn assured His Excellency of Maximum support and Cooperation in other to build the Kogi State of our dreams.

The Chairman thanked His Excellency and His Entourage for coming and promised to Consolidate and Replicate His Exemplary Leadership style.
