Chelsea can dominate English football — Maresca – HEARD VOICE NEWS ONLINE

EPL: Chelsea can dominate English football — Maresca....Read Full Article>>

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has claimed the team can go on to “dominate English football” in the next five to 10 years.

The Blues currently sit in third position, level on 25 points with Arsenal.

Maresca, speaking to the media ahead of Wednesday’s match against Southampton, said their age profile means they will only keep improving.

“In the next five, 10 years, because of the age, Chelsea can be one of the sides that dominate English football,” Marseca said.

“I think we are in the right direction and in terms of personal target, I know from outside you struggle to believe. I’m focused on Southampton; I’m not focused on the end of the season.”

Guardiola breaks silence on Tuchel’s appointment as England manager – HEARD VOICE NEWS ONLINE

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has admitted that his achievements with the Premier League club is the reason he has not been sacked. The champions have not won any of their last six matches in all competitions.....Read Full Article>>

The run has included five straight defeats and one draw – the worst run of Guardiola’s managerial career. Guardiola has now said he would have been fired, if he had not won 18 trophies in eight years.

“At this football club you have to win and, if you don’t win, you will be in trouble,” he told reporters. “I know the people say, ‘why is Pep not in trouble, why is Pep not sacked?’

“What we have done the last eight years is why I have this margin. The people rely on me, the hierarchy, all the people.

“It’s not normal in the big clubs to have the results we’ve had, but we have to accept it. What’s for sure is that I want to stay. I want to do it.

“But the moment I feel I’m not positive for the club, another one [manager] will come. It has to be.”

Final UCL Table After Yesterday’s Fixtures as Man City Drops to 15th, Arsenal Won 5-1 and Barca Won

Manchester City’s challenging season took another blow on Tuesday night as they surrendered a 3-0 lead, ultimately drawing 3-3 with Feyenoord in a thrilling Champions League match.....Read Full Article>>

This result marks their sixth consecutive game without a victory under Pep Guardiola’s management. City seemed set for a comfortable win after first-half goals from Erling Haaland and a deflected effort from Ilkay Gundogan, followed by a second goal from Haaland early in the second half.

However, a series of defensive blunders and missed chances allowed Feyenoord to stage an incredible comeback.

Anis Hadj Moussa capitalized on a careless back-pass from Josko Gvardiol to score for the Dutch side in the 75th minute. Shortly after, substitute Santiago Gimenez netted another, and David Hancko’s header in the dying minutes completed the astonishing equalizer.

Despite having a commanding lead, City was left stunned by the late surge. While the draw ended their five-match losing streak, it fell short of providing the confidence boost Guardiola had hoped for.

Currently, City finds themselves outside the top eight in the Champions League standings and remains entrenched in a slump that shows no signs of abating. A challenging trip to Anfield looms, with the team already trailing Premier League leaders by eight points; a loss there could extend the gap to 11 points.

Despite featuring key players like Kevin De Bruyne, Haaland, and Jack Grealish, City appeared disjointed. Guardiola’s decision to introduce young talents like Jahmai Simpson-Pusey and James McAtee with a three-goal cushion backfired, as defensive mistakes allowed Feyenoord to exploit their limited opportunities.

Amorim ‘frustrated’ with four Man Utd players after 1-1 draw with Ipswich – HEARD VOICE NEWS ONLINE

Former Manchester midfielder, Owen Hargreaves, has claimed that new manager Ruben Amorim was “really frustrated” with several players during their 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town on Sunday.....Read Full Article>>

Omari Hutchinson’s long-range goal cancelled out Marcus Rashford’s early opener at Portman Road. After the match, Amorim admitted that the players were struggling to adapt to their new way of playing.

Hargreaves, who was positioned near the Red Devils’ technical area during the game, has revealed Amorim was unhappy with Diogo Dalot, Joshua Zirkzee, Rasmus Hojlund and Rashford during various stages.

He told Premier League Productions: “He was pretty frustrated, I’m not going to lie.

“He was right in front of me and he was really, really frustrated with a lot of things.

“I think initially Dalot’s positioning, I think he was a little bit frustrated with that in the first half.

“I think the midfield balance he didn’t really like, and when Zirkzee came on I don’t think he was overly happy with his positioning and Hojlund as well. So there’s a lot of stuff that needs a little bit of work.

“Before the game, we saw all those smiles and all that charm from Ruben Amorim but during the game he was really frustrated, I think he realised this is going to be a lot harder than he envisioned.”
