Alvaro Morata scored the first Serie A goal of 2025 for AC Milan with a tidy finish. After a difficult first half, it was a much needed goal.
Milan started bright in the first half, but as the half unfurled, things became quite sluggish. A chess match almost broke out with neither team able to break the deadlock or get through either teams defence. Certainly, very Fonsecian.
The second half started very similarly, with the Rossoneri looking bright, and they eventually got their reward. Theo Hernandez found Christian Pulisic breaking into the box, and shot goalwards, but the keeper saved. Luckily it fell to Morata, and the Spaniard tapped home to make it 1-0, a much needed goal for the team and Morata, with the Diavolo looking to bring in an attacker.
