In a recent post on his official social media handle, Oluwo frowned at the deadly act, saying that if the perpetrators did not stop, their children would never know peace.

He wrote: “Ritual Killings of our Children in Yorubaland young and old, may Olodumare punish you and your family if you don’t stop, may your children too never rest, may the household of that person committing those crimes directly or indirectly no matter how highly placed in the society always mourn, may sadness and tears of sorrow be steadily in their homes always… Ase”
