A brawl broke out between the two teams after the final whistle at Goodison Park.
James Tarkowski had rescued a point for the hosts with a late header.
The melee saw Abdoulaye Doucoure and Curtis Jones sent off as well as Slot and assistant Sipke Hulshoff.
Slot’s post-match press conference was cancelled as a result of the incident.
The Dutchman has now been punished by the Premier League for his actions.
A statement read: “Liverpool head coach Arne Slot was dismissed at the end of the Merseyside derby for using offensive, insulting, or abusive language.
“He is handed a two-match touchline ban as a result.”
The result means that Slot’s men now lead the Premier League table by seven points from nearest challengers Arsenal.
