In a widely circulated live video, Alhaja Arike revealed that she offered substantial financial and material assistance during Adeleke’s swearing-in ceremony.
She claims to have donated ₦5 million in cash, two large cows valued at ₦1.6 million each, four bags of yam flour, and several cartons of her Ero-Arike branded products.
She explained that the governor’s sister, had asked her what she expected in return for her generous support. Arike stated that she asked for the chairmanship position of Boripe Local Government, a request she insists was recorded at the time.
Despite this, she now contends that the Adeleke family reneged on their agreement, leaving her feeling misled and betrayed.
She also stated that when Nigerians collectively oppose her business, people from overseas are now patronizing her products, which have gained global recognition.
The visibly furious Ero Arike noted that she is not afraid of death and will always speak out against injustices.
