The President also commended the stock market’ s historic growth, which generated trillions of naira in wealth, and an increase in foreign investments as evidence of restored global confidence in Nigeria.

Despite these successes, Tinubu recognized ongoing issues such as the high cost of living and inflation, which stood at 34. 6% in 2024. He assured Nigerians that his administration is determined to tackle these problems by lowering inflation to 15% in 2025 through initiatives aimed at boosting agricultural output and encouraging the local production of essential goods.
