Soma drugged, hit, tied me up – Ex-girlfriend alleges....Read Full Article>>

Big Brother Naija reality star, Soma’s ex-girlfriend, Hilda Dirisu, has accused him of stalking and physically abusing her.

She alleged that despite being involved with his colleague, Angel Smith during and after the All-Stars season, Soma repeatedly tried to rekindle his relationship with her.

Dirisu made the allegations while reacting to accusations by Angel’s fans that she “stole” the reality star’s bracelet.

She was spotted with a bracelet that Soma allegedly stole from Angel and gave to her.

After the photo went viral, fans started tagging her and accusing her of stealing Angel’s bracelet.

Reacting, Dirisu said Soma was the one to be questioned about how the bracelet got to her.

On her X handle, she wrote: “Since last year’s show, I don’t think I’ve caught a break from his fans, shippers, family members, or Somadina himself.
“This morning, I woke up to tags on Twitter about a ‘stolen bracelet or cat collar.’ God please!

“I’m just going to put these questions out here for you all to ask him. Ask Somadina Anyama how the ‘stolen bracelet’ got to me in the first place.

“Ask him what happened at my house in late April this year -how he drugged me, hit me, tied me up.”

Soma has yet to react to the allegations.

Israeli envoy reveals foreign country behind terror!sm in Nigeria....Read Full Article>>

Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Michael Freeman, has revealed that Iran is the root cause of global terrorism, citing its support for extremist groups in the Middle East and Africa.

Freeman made the claim during the screening of the documentary “We Will Dance Again” in Abuja, marking the first anniversary of the October 7 attacks.

Freeman explained that Iran’s backing of militant groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis has fueled instability in the Middle East.

He also pointed to Iran’s growing influence in Africa, including in Nigeria, where it has been linked to supporting terrorism.

He stressed that lasting peace in the Middle East and parts of Africa is unlikely unless there is a significant change in Iran’s leadership.

Freeman urged the international community to take immediate action to address Iran’s role in fostering terrorism.

The ambassador further highlighted the shared threat of terrorism between Israel and Nigeria, calling for global cooperation to combat extremism.

Freeman reassured that Israel is ready to assist any nation committed to fighting terrorism.

He stated: “The root of this war and the ongoing instability is Iran.

“Iran supports and funds groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, fueling unrest across the Middle East. Their strategy involves significant financial investment, technical expertise, and weaponry to destabilize the region.

“Iran’s influence is also extending into Africa, with attempts to disrupt West African stability, including actions in Nigeria.

“The sooner the world addresses Iran’s leadership and initiates change, the sooner global peace can be achieved.

“Terrorism in Israel doesn’t end there.

“We’ve observed radical terrorism here in Nigeria as well, similar to what we face in Israel. Terrorism knows no borders, and nations must collaborate, sharing expertise and resources to combat this common threat.

“Israel stands ready to assist any country committed to defeating terrorism.”

Simon Ekpa writes Finland President over Biafra Declaration....Read Full Article>>

The Simon Ekpa-led Biafra Republic Government In-Exile has written to Finland President, Alexander Stubb over the group’s announced Biafra declaration convention.

Ekpa, in a statement on Wednesday through X, noted that the letter of intent was presented on Monday to Finland’s President, Alexander Stubb.

According to Ekpa, the letter detailed justifications on why the Biafra declaration is a recipe for peace in Nigeria and the Sahel region of Africa.

“The letter of intent informed the Finland President to support the Biafra Independence Declaration because it is a recipe for peace in the Sahel Region,” Ekpa wrote on his official X account.

“The Government of Biafra is contacting you to inform you about the overall aims and goals of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile and its international legal personality, and the pending restoration of the United States of Biafra under the auspices of an internationally recognised referendum to be concluded the last week of November 2024.

“Unlike other secessionist governments in Africa before and since, Biafra was recognised by five United Nations member states,” the letter reads in part.

This comes amid the increased agitation for Biafra independence in the past years.

Ekpa had announced that from November 29 to 3rd, 2024, Biafra independence will be declared in a convention in Finland.

Recall that Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has been under detention since 2021 over Biafra agitation.

Efforts and appeals from several Igbo leaders for his freedom have not yielded fruit.
