Speaking to journalists after the prize presentation ceremony at MultiChoice headquarters in Lagos, Kola explained that while his friendship with Imisi was one of the most genuine connections he formed in the house, it had no romantic undertone.

“Imisi is just my sister and someone I care about in a platonic way. I’m happy that someone I care about the most in the house won. Her win is my win,” he said.

Kola added that Imisi’s consistent support and kindness were evident throughout their time on the reality show.

“She always looked out for me, even when we were not in the same team. She’s my sister and will continue to be my sister,” he emphasized.

Reflecting on his own journey in the house, the reality star admitted that although he initially aimed to win the N150 million grand prize, he felt fulfilled seeing someone close to him emerge victorious.

“I always thought I wanted to win, but at the end of the day, I was open to my sister, Imisi. She rooted for me. I’m grateful I have a sister,” he said.

When asked about his rumored connection with fellow housemate Dede, Kola chose not to elaborate.

“I don’t want to talk about my relationship with Dede,” he responded briefly.

Kola also touched on his personal struggles during the show, revealing that one of his biggest challenges was not being able to communicate with his parents.

Meanwhile, Imisi, the newly crowned BBNaija Season 10 winner, also spoke glowingly about Kola, reaffirming that their relationship was strictly brother-sister.

“Yes, he’s like a brother to me. Nothing beyond that,” she said.
