The enforcement, led by the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, was carried out in the Gbagada, Ogudu, Ojodu, and Agidingbi areas of the state.

The move, according to the government, aims to address noise pollution and other environmental infractions, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a healthier and more sustainable environment for residents.

Among the sealed establishments were Divine Perfection Ministry, Eagle Paints Nigeria Limited, Daveoris Global Ventures Limited, and Ene Global.

The establishments were shut down “for failing to adhere to environmental standards despite prior notices,” the commissioner revealed.

“This action is part of the agency’s ongoing commitment to creating a healthier and more sustainable environment for all Lagosians,” Wahab stated.

In August, the government also sealed off Landcraft Industries Nigeria and Word of Light Christ Ministry (Camp of Light) for noise and environmental pollution-related offences.
Wahab, who made this known in a statement, said Landcraft Industries Nigeria, situated at Odogunyan, Ikorodu, Lagos, was sealed off due to gross environmental pollution, while the Word of Light Christ Ministry (Camp of Light), located at Oriokuta, also in Ikorodu, was sealed off due to noise pollution.
