AC Milan could potentially choose to invest in a new striker in the summer transfer window, and their interest in Benjamin Sesko is still alive.

According to Calciomercato.com, many top European clubs will scan the market in search of their new number nine. Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham, Milan, PSG, Juventus and even Real Madrid are likely to engage in a ‘game of musical chairs’.

Sesko will not move in January but the summer is a different story. This was clearly reiterated by his agent, Elvis Basanovic, who spoke to GiveMeSpor: “He is not a player who goes away on loan, there has never been anything with Arsenal or any other club in this session.

“I don’t know where these stories come from. We have been aware of the interest of several top clubs for a long time, but if you ask me whether Sesko will move in January, I can only say he is a Leipzig player.”

His coach, Marco Rose, echoed this: “That is not the case, that is not an argument for us.” With 13 goals and three assists in 25 matches this season, Sesko is already showing that he is on a path to realising the potential everyone thought and thinks he has.

After summer exit rumours, RB Leipzig got him to extend until 2029 but in exchange for a release clause of €65m. That amount is unlikely to put off some of the clubs mentioned in the list above, including potentially the Rossoneri.
