After winning their previous three fixtures, the Red Devils were stunned in front of their fans.

Goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta in the 64th and 89th minute sealed victory for the Eagles.

The defeat was United’s fourth loss in their last five matches at home.

The result leaves Amorim’s men sitting in 13th in the Premier League table.

For Amorim, it just worsens his record as he has lost eight of his first 19 games as United coach.

Oliseh, reacting to the game on X, said: “Come on, This must be classified as a crime the way Manchester United is defending!!

“0-2 to Crystal Palace at home in this manner? Boy do I feel sorry for the poor impotent Amorim.”

Oliseh’s comments show that he believes that United’s struggles lie with the players rather than Amorim.
