Exclusive as Asake breaks records as Nigeria’s most certified artist

Nigerian music star Ololade Ahmed popularly known as Asake has become the musician with the most certified songs and albums in Nigeria. Asake has established himself as a major player in the Nigerian music scene thanks to his distinctive combination of hip-hop, Afrobeats, and other genres. With more than 350,000 copies sold, Asake’s highly regarded record Mr. Money With The Vibe has achieved 7x Platinum certification, demonstrating its enormous appeal.

Other popular songs, like “Bandana” and “Lonely At The Top,” have sold hundreds of thousands of copies and have earned seven and five platinum certifications, respectively. The singer’s chart-topping singles, including Sungba, 2:30, Basquiat, and Joha, have earned multiple certifications ranging from 4x to 2x Platinum.

Additionally, tracks like Active, Fuji Vibe, and Olorun have secured Gold and Silver certifications.

Asake’s accomplishments extend beyond Nigeria, with certifications in the UK for Bandana (200,000 units sold), and both Mr. Money With The Vibe and Work of Art receiving Silver certifications for selling 60,000 units each.
