AC Milan will evaluate the opportunities that arise between now and the end of the January transfer window, and they have their eyes on Manchester United.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report this morning on the possible moves in attack, focusing above all on Joao Felix’s possible arrival on loan this month from Chelsea, and the idea that a bid could be launched for Santiago Gimenez of Feyenoord if there is a sale.

However, in terms of alternatives to Joao Felix, the directors are looking towards Manchester and not the blue side. Joshua Zirkzee cost United €42.5m in the summer and Rasmus Hojlund cost €85m before that, and yet Ruben Amorim seems to want another striker.

Milan are paying attention to the Red Devils’ incoming moves and are ready to intervene if the opportunity were to arise to take one of them on loan, even if there would then be other issues to work out such as formula and salary.

Both strikers are well known by the directors: the Dutchman was wanted in the summer before high commission requests saw them turn to Alvaro Morata, while the Dane was admired too before the huge bid from United blew them out of the water.
