In his criticism of Anyanwu’s alleged alliance with former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, Ugochinyere stated, “You start carrying Wike’s handbag when he’s going to Port Harcourt, and that’s your qualification to come back.”
He further alleged legal manipulation, adding, “And then, before he says that, they started obtaining injunctions for him in different courts so they can remain in office, so they can sabotage the party.”
The lawmaker then took an unusual personal turn, raising questions about the moral implications of such political behavior on families.
“At times, I wonder whether their children can pick up the phone and call, saying, ‘Daddy, what are you doing?
