As Fikayo Tomori has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus this month, his former colleague and AC Milan loanee Pierre Kalulu was asked about a potential Bianconeri switch for the Englishman.

Milan and Juventus are currently in advanced negotiations over Tomori, as per the latest reports, and it seems an agreement could be reached at around €30m. In many ways, it’s a sale that doesn’t make sense to the Rossoneri fans, effectively reinforcing a rival mid-season.

It happened in the summer as well with Kalulu, who has become a regular in the Bianconeri’s defence and is showing his qualities once again. Speaking to DAZN after yesterday’s 2-0 win against Milan, the Frenchman was asked about Tomori potentially making the move again.

How is the transition from Milan to Juve? Do you recommend it to Tomori?

“I’ve been in Italy for four years, every year there’s a lot of noise on the mercato, in this country it’s very popular. I only watch when the contracts are signed. As for the move, I can only speak for myself and it went well for me,” he stated as cited by MilanNews.

Should the move materialise, then Milan’s Scudetto centre-back pairing would reunite. Regardless of how the money will be reinvested by the management, it would no doubt annoy the fans to reinforce Juventus once again.
