According to a post on the official X handle of Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, the widow of the former Ondo Governor told Governor Aiyedatiwa that he cannot weep more than the bereaved.
She said that she and her family were never informed about the Aketi Lecture; hence, it is not in honor of her late husband. Earlier today, the former Ondo first lady had posted on her X handle that her husband’s first memorial is not for a publicity stunt.
Some hours later, she shared that she was not informed about any memorial lecture in honor of her late husband.
Dr. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu had written, “This is not for Aketi because I and my family are not aware.
