It has been a busy day for transfer news involving AC Milan’s Argentina contingent, as Marco Pellegrino has had his loan spell redirected.

The decision was made during the summer to loan Pellegrino back to his home country after he spent the second half of last season with Salernitana, who ended up suffering relegation back to Serie B.

However, he has struggled to get opportunities there and there were even reports that emerged from Argentina stating that he had been internally suspended by the club. In short, it wasn’t the experience that either side were hoping for.

On the official website, Milan have confirmed the termination of the loan agreement of Pellegrino to Club Atlético Independiente. They also state that the defender will join Club Atlético Huracán instead on a temporary basis, until 30 June 2025.

The club go on to wish Marco the best of luck in his new adventure. It is the second bit of exit news today after Luka Romero was confirmed to have joined Cruz Azul in Mexico on a permanent deal, also cutting a loan deal short with Alaves in LaLiga.
