AC Milan look likely to sign Kyle Walker shortly, with reports suggesting that a new round of talks will take place this afternoon.
Given Davide Calabria’s contract expires at the end of the season, Milan need to look at the right-back market, and an intriguing proposition has come to light in the past week. Shortly after the game against Cagliari, it was reported that Walker was being looked at by the Rossoneri, and things have progressed quickly since.
The 34-year-old’s big issue has been his contract with Manchester City, but it looks like that will no longer be an issue. As Matteo Moretto reports, the full-back is in talks with the Citizens to terminate his current deal and move to Milano as a free agent.
Milan seem confident, and will have another round of talks in ‘the next few hours’ to finalise things, and considering Walker has agreed to a deal already all that must be done now is the final touches on the deal which will run until 2027.
With this, it would suggest that the move for Marcus Rashford is off unless an English spot were to become free. However, with Fikayo Tomori not leaving, the chances of this seem slim.
