Marcus Rashford seems likely to leave Manchester United this January, and AC Milan are the favourites to land the winger. However, a deal is becoming difficult.

January is not a simple window for anyone on any end of a deal. Players must decide on a new location for at least the next six months, whilst clubs must sort replacements or find funds to afford their targets.

In the Rashford case, the stalling point is with the player, but Sky reports that Milan are not ‘giving up’ on a deal just yet. Currently, there is no agreement with United, and there are differences in the requests from both clubs.

With Barcelona joining the race for the attacker, a decision about the future has not been made by Rashford, which has also delayed the deal.

At present, the Rossoneri have not given up, but the difficulties of a deal are known, and if the Manchester outfit are unwilling to contribute to a deal, then it will become more of an issue.

Reports have suggested that the Diavolo have also begun to look at the prospect of signing Joao Felix this window as well, so if this deal is easier to complete, then it seems that the route will be to London, rather than Manchester.
