When asked by Sky Sports who he sees as the ‘most underrated player’ at Manchester United, the Denmark international mentioned Manuel Ugarte.
Ugarte has been a mainstay in the Man United team this season under manager, Ruben Amorim.
The Uruguay international joined the Red Devils in a £50m move from Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
Explaining his selection for mentioning Ugarte, Hojlund said: “I think you have seen it a little bit more now with the new manager coming in, how well he’s been doing.”
He added, “Obviously the results have not been good enough but he is been a standout player lately.
“You see his quality, you see those workhorses in teams, they don’t get the appreciation.”
Hojlund joined Man United in a £72m deal from Atalanta last summer.
