Reports indicate that Oladesu died on Tuesday during her visit to her son, Hezekiah Oladesu, and his family. She had traveled to join in the celebration of her daughter-in-law’s graduation and to bond with the newest member of their family.
This heartbreaking news was shared on Thursday by the Nigerian community in the UK through a statement on its X account.
The community revealed that Oladesu’s family is now faced with the difficult task of raising funds to repatriate her body to Nigeria for burial.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched, urging Nigerians to support the family during this challenging time.
“Tragically, her life was cut short, and what was meant to be a time of happiness has turned into one unimaginable grief,” the statement read.
