Provinces Under Severe Weather Threat

According to weather officials, a Level 4 yellow warning has been issued for the central and northern parts of KwaZulu-Natal, where heavy rain and thunderstorms could lead to flooding in low-lying areas, damage to roads, vehicles, property, and even risks to livestock.

Similarly, a Level 2 yellow warning applies to the eastern Free State, where isolated severe thunderstorms may cause localized flooding and infrastructure damage.

• Mpumalanga: Partly cloudy to warm with isolated showers, except in the Lowveld where it will be hot.

• Free State: Cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers, scattered in eastern parts where fog may form.

Fire Danger Warning

The weather service has also issued warnings for extremely high fire danger conditions over the southeastern parts of Limpopo. Residents are urged to exercise caution in affected areas.
