Close friends of Salome have come forward to clarify that she and Ajayi were not romantically involved. According to their statements, Salome’ s gruesome death was the result of a random act of violence after she mistakenly entered the wrong tricycle on her way to visit a friend in Karu, Nasarawa State, on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
One of her friends, identified as Alli Stephen, shared on Facebook that Salome was abducted and killed by Ajayi, who later tried to mislead the police with false statements.
Alli revealed that Salome’ s older sister had spoken to her shortly before her death. The alarm was raised when a bike man noticed blood dripping from the bag carried by Ajayi, leading to his arrest.
Abby Simon, another friend, described the incident as ” gruesome. ” She emphasized that Salome was a reserved and quiet individual who rarely left home unless necessary. Abby expressed her grief, stating that no family should ever experience such a devastating loss.
” She is my friend’ s younger sister and not his girlfriend. He abducted and killed her in the most gruesome way possible. I’ m presently at their house, and it’ s heartbreaking, ” Abby wrote.
