The losing trend continued for AC Milan on Sunday morning as Milan Primavera were beaten by the odd goal against Fiorentina. For Federico Guidi’s boys, a five-game unbeaten run thus came to an end.

It has been a season with ups and downs for Milan Primavera, but positive spells here and there have allowed them to stay within reach of first place. Prior to today’s clash against Fiorentina, they were five games unbeaten in all competitions (3W, 2D).

However, the unbeaten run came to an end today as Fiorentina prevailed by the odd goal. Tommaso Rubino opened the scoring after just two minutes as La Viola won the ball high up the pitch, making the most of a Rossoneri defence caught off guard.

Unfortunately, Guidi’s boys struggled big-time to create chances as the first real good one came during added time in the second half, with a long-range effort from Victor Eletu. There is a lot to work on, in other words, and it’s looking difficult to compete for the top spots this season.

Lecce (currently in ninth place) are up next for the Primavera, scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, and they will need to bounce back with a win immediately.
