Gym Instructor Reportedly Impregnates 3 Girls Who Wanted Flat Tummy For Christmas
A gym instructor in Ashaiman, a suburb of Accra, has reportedly impregnated three young women who had joined his fitness programme with the aim of achieving toned physiques ahead of the festive season.....Read Full Article>>
According to a post shared by a social media user, the women, who had all signed up for a regimen focused on attaining flat stomachs, are now at the centre of a social media storm as details of the situation emerge.
The gym instructor, whose identity remains undisclosed, is alleged to have engaged in consensual relationships with the clients during their fitness journeys.
However, other reports suggest that the number of women involved could be as high as six, although this figure has yet to be confirmed. The conflicting accounts have only heightened the intrigue surrounding the story.
As Christmas approaches, the rush to achieve a toned and picture-perfect body becomes a ritual for many women. The festive season, with its dazzling parties, family gatherings, and endless photo opportunities, often brings increased focus on appearance. For many, the goal is clear: to look their best in that fitted holiday dress or dazzle in a show-stopping outfit.
This seasonal pursuit of fitness is not solely about health; it is deeply influenced by societal ideals and the pressure to present a flawless image. Social media exacerbates this pressure, with feeds inundated with images of toned bodies and transformation stories. In response, gyms and fitness centres see a notable surge in attendance, as women embark on intense routines and fitness plans to achieve their desired physiques.
While such dedication is admirable, it prompts the question: how much of this drive stems from personal fulfilment, and how much is fuelled by external expectations?
The festive fitness frenzy, while empowering for some, can also pose risks, particularly when the focus shifts to unattainable goals and extreme methods.
Perhaps the real challenge lies in redefining what it means to feel “ready” for the festive season. Could it be about embracing confidence, health, and balance rather than striving for perfection? After all, the joy of Christmas is best celebrated with a spirit of self-love and authenticity.

Chairman/CEO of the NDLEA, Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), described the move as a major milestone in the agency’s transformation into a modern, results-driven institution. “This is a phase in the recalibration of NDLEA, a process that began in January 2021,” Marwa stated.
Although the facility is not fully completed, Marwa emphasized its functional readiness, citing the urgent need to accommodate the agency’s expanded workforce.
“With the growth of our operations and personnel, the previous headquarters in Gimbiya, Garki, could no longer meet our needs. This move consolidates our directorates for greater efficiency and coordination.”
Marwa expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his unwavering support and encouragement, enabling the agency to fulfill its mandate. He also acknowledged the contributions of international partners, the National Assembly, judiciary, and citizens.
“This support is not only a recognition of our efforts but a motivation to achieve more. I believe this new environment will inspire even greater achievements,” Marwa noted.
He credited his predecessor for initiating the process of securing a befitting headquarters for the agency.
NDLEA Secretary Shadrach Haruna commended Marwa’s transformative leadership, citing key milestones achieved since 2021:
Increase in staff strength from 5,000 to 15,000.
Payment of allowances, including benefits for widows of fallen officers.
Amendment of the agency’s enabling laws.
Enhanced professionalism, capability, and global recognition.
Relocation Details and Future Plans

The event included Christian and Islamic prayers for President Tinubu and the nation. A commemorative plaque was also unveiled to mark the occasion.
“This relocation marks a new era for NDLEA. Together, we must remain relentless in the fight against drug cartels,” Marwa urged the staff.

JUST IN: ICPC arraigns ex-bank MD, CEO over alleged money laundering
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, has arraigned a former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, FMBN, Gimba Kumo Ya’u.....Read Full Article>>
He was arraigned alongside two others over an alleged diversion of $65,000,000. The money was meant for the development of 962 units of residential housing units in Kubwa District in Abuja.
Ya’u was brought before Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Abuja, alongside Mr Bola Ogunsola, former Executive Director and Tarry Rufus, Managing Director of T-Brend Fortunes Nigeria Limited.
The ICPC told the court in a charge sheet marked FHC/ABJ/CR/333/24 that the alleged offences of the defendants go against the Public Enterprises Regulatory Commission Act and Section 19 of the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022.
In a five-count charge, the anti-graft commission told the court that the ex-bank CEO made payment to Good Earth Power Nigeria Limited in the sum of N3,785,000,000 out of the total contract sum of $65,000,000.
The money was meant to erect 962 units of residential housing in Kubwa, Abuja, named “Goodluck Jonathan Legacy City.”
ICPC alleged that Yau and Ogunsola, in their roles as CEO and ED of the bank in August 2012, had secured a loan of N14 billion from Ecobank Nigeria PLC on behalf of the bank.
ICPC further alleged that Yau, as the then CEO of FMBN, awarded the $65 million contract despite knowing that the company lacked the capacity to carry out the contract.
It added that the project remains incomplete “as of today.”
The other defendants were accused of giving and receiving $3,550,000 of the contract sum in cash in contravention of the Money Laundering Act.
Tarry Rufus, Good Earth Power Nigeria Limited and T-Brend Fortunes Limited were accused of directly converting the sum of N991,399,255 into $3,550,000 and handing over the same to one Jason Rosamond (now at large) in cash, contrary to Section 18(2) (b) and punishable under Section 18 (a) of the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022.
The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to them.
Following their plea, the judge adjourned the case until February 6, 2025, for the commencement of trial.
